About Yucheon

Vision

A leading sport institution located in the heart of Seoul, South Korea that is committed to the cultivation of sport leaders who will promote and improve healthy physical activity for society, both nationally and globally. Students are trained with practical and relevant theories and applications under morally-accepted educational principles.

Behind the Name

From Sino-Korean 有 "have, own, possess; exist" and 天 "sky, heaven; god, celestial". Yucheon University's aim is for their students to aim for the skies, to have limitless goals.

Behind the Maxim

Sic itur ad astra. is a latin phrase which translates to Thus one journeys to the stars. the university wants its students to go even above and beyond than the skies, way beyond expectations.

Symbol of Power

Yucheon University has adopted the Eagle as its symbol, as it is the sacred animal of Zeus, the greek god of the skies.

The university currently offers ten sport programs:

taekwondo

YSU is looking to hire two (2) trainers for each sport.

(more sports will be added later based on demand.)

Class Years

The university strongly encourages you to follow the following the age guideline provided below. to prevent too many students in one year, you're only free to age down your character a bit (within reason, please). as this is a university, we currently will not accept faceclaims born after 2001.

first year - age 17 (if born in 2001) to 18
second year - age 19 to 20
third year - age 21 to 22
fourth year - age 23 and older

Ages of Trainers are to be 23 and older.

Captains

there will be two Captains for each major. They will be responsible for adding new members to their major's group chat and leading them for any possible future events.

Captains are voted to their position regardless of what year they're in. To keep things balanced, it's encouraged that for every major one captain be female and one be male if possible.
